Safaree wants a judge to force Erica Mena to allow him to be present for the birth of their child. The Love and Hip Hop (LHH) star recently filed documents with the courts that would prevent his estranged wife from shutting him out of the significant moment.

According to TMZ,
“The Love & Hip Hop star says his estranged wife is due to give birth in July, and he’s afraid she won’t let him be with her for the delivery.
In the [court] docs, Safaree makes it clear he wants to witness his child’s birth, but firmly believes the only way he can assure that happens is for the court to step in and force Erica to allow it.”
Erica Mena filed to divorce Safaree a few weeks ago. Her petition for marriage dissolution came after less than two years of marriage.

Safaree and Erica welcomed their daughter, Safire Majesty, last year. Part of the birth of Safire played out on Love and Hip Hop: New York.
“I don’t want to go through this by myself,” Erica told Safaree while talking to him on the phone. Safaree was gearing up for a show when his then-wife called to tell him that she was in labor. “This is what I was telling you,” Erica added. “I had a feeling,” Mena told her husband in reference to her premonition of labor.
Safaree went to great lengths to be present for Safire’s birth. Not only did he cancel his show, but Safaree also rushed to the airport to take the first flight out to be at his wife’s side. “I cannot miss the birth of my first child,” the recording artist said during the LHH episode.

Erica Mena and Safaree welcomed their daughter on February 2, 2020. The celebrities are presently expecting their second child together. The newborn will make Erica a mom for the third time.
