Watching TV and movies is unquestionably a momentary suspension of reality. But, when you run across a child star who is now an adult with kids of their own, its real and you wonder just where has the time gone. To make you ponder even more, here are six former child stars we can’t believe now have kids of their own!
You may remember her as Kady Kyle on My Wife and Kids, but now 25-year-old Posey is now a mom herself, having recently given birth to a a beautiful baby girl named Harley with her partner Jay Jay Wilson. In a recent IG post, Posey opened up, encouraging postpartum body positivity.
“Motherhood has been the best thing that has ever happened to me, the amount of love & joy I feel every day is overwhelming. That doesn’t take away the fact that I’m still Parker first. If I don’t feel 100, how can I give my all to my daughter. Your body changes in many ways during pregnancy & after…. though you may not see through pictures, videos, filters & boomerangs what I see or understand how I feel… it’s MY TRUTH. …the body is a magical thing. Be kind to it. Be kind to you.”
2. Dee Dee Davis
“Baby Girl” from The Bernie Mac Show is not only a mom of one but now two! The actress introduced her little princess, Leia, to the IG Timeline on May 14th and of course, everyone was super excited to see the new addition to her family!
3. Kyla Pratt
Kyla Pratt is no stranger to the entertainment world as she is still in front of the camera on Fox‘s Call Me Kat. However, people unquestionably will remember this child actress as Breanna Barnes on the UPN hit television show, One on One. Now Pratt is mother to two beautiful daughters Liyah and Lyric.
4. Christina Vidal Mitchell
Remember Vidal from Nickelodeon’s Taina? Well, now this child star is all grown up with two daughters of her own. Miss seeing Vidal on the screen? Well, you won’t have to wait long to see her new project, The Terminal List, coming to Amazon soon.
Welcoming a baby girl Riley into the world, this former Just Jordan and Good Luck Charlie actress is truly thankful for motherhood. For Mother’s Day, she posted about her gratitude on Instagram.
“Thankful for motherhood. I’m honored to have carried and birthed such a sweet soul. Although a daddy’s girl—our relationship is so loving and caring. Your little tight neck hugs—the way you smile at me when It’s time to get you out of the car seat..none of these memories will ever leave me.”
You may remember Tiffany Evans from Diary of A Mad Black Woman or from her song “Promis Ring” with Ciara, but what you may not know is that she is mom to two daughters. Pictured with her eldest, Adalia, Evans knows how to bring in the fun!
