“My heart explodes with so many emotions,” Erica shared online on Wednesday (Feb. 3). “It is hard to believe that a year ago today you blessed my life with so much love and joy,” the celebrity mom doted. “The kind of love and joy that is genuine and pure.”
Erica Mena and Safaree welcomed their daughter on February 3, 2020. Erica’s water broke while Safaree was away from home, which caused the LHH star to be concerned about the possibility of having to endure her labor and delivery experience without her husband by her side. Safaree, unwilling to miss the birth of his and Erica’s daughter, took every liberty available to arrive in time to witness the arrival of Safire.
“There are times where I wish I could freeze moments forever,” Mena said on her daughter’s first birthday. “Yet I know that each passing day with you brings more me happiness. This past year will be a year I will forever cherish in heart and memory,” the celebrity mom continued.
“You learned to crawl, pull up to stand, and crawl up the stairs. I learned, not to hold my breath in fear of your fall, but to support you in all the wonderful things you could do,” Mena shared.
“This year you learned and grew so much,” Erica wrote to Safire Majesty. “I learned just what we could achieve together as mommy and daughter in one simple year. So happy birthday to the one I always prayed for My Safire! We have so much to celebrate today.”

Safire Majesty is Safaree and Erica Mena’s first child together. Erica also has a son named King from a previous relationship. Safaree and Erica became engaged on December 24, 2018. The celebrity couple celebrates two years of marriage on October 7, 2021.
