Ciara is a doting wife and mom. The ‘Beauty Marks’ singer recently shared photos of her sons, Win and Future Zahir, while celebrating her husband, Russell Wilson.
“Watching you go on this journey these past weeks has been inspiring,” Ciara wrote to her husband who recently made history as one of the fastest quarterbacks to play for the NFL. “Your hard work, drive, and dedication never ceases to amaze me,” the singer continued. “You’re the Best leader I know,” Ciara wrote to Russell. “The true definition of a Champion.”
Ciara and Russell Wilson celebrated five years of marriage earlier this year. The couple’s love story gives many single women hope that their Prince Charming is somewhere in the universe. Several women have asked Ciara to share the prayer that brought her Russell Wilson. The ‘Level Up’ singer recently fulfilled this wish with a narrated version of her prayer on Summer Walker’s new album, Still Over It.
In the prayer, Ciara is direct in asking God for a spouse. “I pray the next man of my life will be my husband,” the recording artist states. “I pray he loves me, leads me, guides me, reassures me. I pray that he holds me. I pray that I have everything I want and need in him. I pray he will love me the way that you love me. Your love is unconditional. You are the way, the truth and the life. In you there’s hope.”
Ciara’s marriage to Russell Wilson after the singer ended her engagement to rapper Future. Various rumors surrounded the very public breakup with some feeling validated in their accusations of infidelity on Future’s part after hearing Ciara’s single ‘I Bet’ in which she delves into unfaithfulness in relationships.
Ciara and Future continue to co-parent their son in harmony despite their tumultuous relationship as intimate partners. Ciara and Russell Wilson have two kids, Win and Sienna, together.
