Safaree does not necessarily want more kids with his wife, Erica Mena. The Love and Hip Hop (LHH) star’s wife recently told viewers her husband feared she would get “too big” if she were pregnant again.

Erica’s stomach was on full display throughout her expectancy. The celebrity mom proudly showed off her bump while preparing for the arrival of her daughter, Safire Majesty, with Safaree. Not only did Erica gain a few pounds during her pregnancy, but Safaree also gained weight during the experience. The first-time dad told his Instagram fans that he put on 12 pounds during his wife’s expectancy, which he planned to shed in the gym.

“You say it all the time,” Erica said to her husband during a recent Love and Hip Hop: Secrets Unlocked episode. “You mentioned my stomach afterward,” Mena continued. “You said, ‘You got too big, I got too big. I don’t want to be fat, again.’ That’s what you said.”

Safaree did not deny telling his wife she “got too big” during her last expectancy. Such a silent admission led to significant backlash.

“I expected more from you Safaree,” one social media follower said after watching the clip. Another critic wrote, “Wow … actually disgusted by Safaree. I would feel tricked into a marriage if a man switched up wanting to have kids for that kind of trivial reason. We either having more kids [or] I’m having more kids elsewhere.”

Erica revealed Safaree shared his desire to refrain from having more children after they tied the marital knot in 2019. “He waits until after we get married to say that he don’t (sic) want more kids,” Mena shared with Love and Hip Hop: Secrets Unlocked viewers. “You knew that I want more kids,” the celebrity mom said to her husband.

Safire Majesty was born on February 2, 2020. She is Erica Mena and Safaree’s only child together. Erica also has a son named King from a previous relationship.
