Jamie Foxx continues to recover in the hospital three weeks after experiencing a “medical complication” while filming for a forthcoming project. The award-winning actor and celebrity father shared a short but sweet message on his Instagram page this past Wednesday (May 3).
“Appreciate all the love,” Jamie wrote online. “Feeling blessed,” the celebrity dad exclaimed.
Foxx was admitted to the hospital last month after allegedly experiencing a medical condition. Jamie’s oldest daughter, Corinne Foxx, announced her father’s hospitalization via social media. “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers,” the actress shared.
Rumors have swirled regarding Jamie’s condition and the medical emergency that led to his hospital admittance. Celebrities who have visited Foxx have continued to solicit prayers and support from fans.
“Man, I’m praying,” Nick Cannon shared. “I can’t really say what it is, but it’ll be out there soon,” the entertainer assured the press. “I was reluctant to go all the way there, and even talk about it, but he gave me the blessing, so it’s a beautiful thing. He’s awake. They say he’s alert, so we love it.”
Jamie Foxx is the father of two kids. The actor spoke with Entertainment Tonight (ET) about his life as a dad during an interview in 2021.
“I’m always going forward. I’m always trying to fix everything,” Jamie shared. “I made mistakes,” Foxx said regarding his rearing practices. “I learned that in order to parent I had to put discipline on myself,” the celebrity father revealed.
Jamie Foxx’s youngest daughter, Anelise Bishop, celebrates her fourteenth birthday this year. Nick Cannon will serve as host of Beat Shazam while Foxx recovers from his medical emergency.
