Kiyan shared an Instagram post that clearly conveyed the message of his switching schools. “Uh oh,” Anthony shared in the caption section of his social media post. “Go time,” one supporter said. La La told Kiyan that she was indeed his number one fan.

Kiyan made lots of headway during his time playing basketball for Christ The King. It was just a few weeks ago that the teen and his team competed against Sierra Canyon where the sons of LeBron James play ball. Christ The King was not successful in beating Sierra Canyon’s team. Still, the night was filled with support for Kiyan. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s oldest daughter, North West, even made signs in support of La La and Carmelo’s son.

“Last night was a night to remember,” La La told her social media fans. “Seeing the boys play against each other in front of all of our family and friends was so exciting and just the beginning of amazing things to come for all of them,” the celebrity mom declared.

It certainly seems that Kiyan is following in his father’s footsteps. It was just last year that the teen ranked among the top 65 on the 2025 class roster of 247Sports.

“I feel like I have made big improvements since EYBL,” the teen shared when asked about how the steps he has taken to further improve his skills. I’ve been In the gym every day working on my body and my jump shot and I’m looking forward to the season,” Kiyan said at the time.

La La and Carmelo’s son expressed excitement about playing for Christ The King. Fans will have to wait and see how the teen performs on his new team.
