Shay Johnson celebrated her daughter, Shajiyah, turning 9 months old over the weekend with a mini photoshoot.
On Saturday, Johnson took to her Instagram to share the adorable snaps, which show the mommy-daughter pair dressed in Burberry clothing.
Shay wrote, “My #SweetPea @iamshajiyah turns 9 months today!! Help me celebrate with my baby @iamshajiyah … she will be one before you know it.”
The images have already garnered over 40,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
“She’s Such a pretty Lil Baby. If I could I would’ve froze my kids at 9 months Lol…. They grow up,so fast it’s Almost unfair. You will see Mommy what I mean. I don’t know how my kids are 30 & 27,” one commenter wrote.
“She’s beautiful! Great job mom! I’m so happy for you,” another said.
“Just a perfect little button. Enjoy her now every minute counts they grow like flowers,” one fan commented.
Shay Johnson, who has starred in both the Atlanta and Miami franchises of Love & Hip Hop, welcomed her daughter in May of 2022 via C-section. She announced the baby news on her Instagram.
She wrote, “I HAD A SAFE DELIVERY and @iamshajiyah is perfect!! 6 pounds 15 ounces… I’m officially apart of the mommy club … This process was emotional but thank you ALL for your support!!”
In August, BET spoke to to Johnson about her experience as a first-time mom. “This is something that I’ve wanted for a long time! It definitely came unexpectedly, but I’m blessed. Even though I had complications during pregnancy, I am truly blessed.”
Adding, “My mindset changed. I’m very overprotective and I don’t focus on certain things that I used to focus on. It’s more about her and the image I’m portraying. I’m trying to set an example for her.”
Johnson is most famous for appearing on the VH1 series Flavor of Love, where she vied for the affection of rapper Flavor Flav. She has openly dated other famous musicians, including Lil Scrappy and Pleasure P of Pretty Ricky. She has, however, kept mum about the identity of her baby’s father.
