Kevin Hart has a new eatery right down the street from LAX! The comedian celebrated the opening of his vegan restaurant, Hart House, earlier this week. Kevin’s wife, Eniko, and daughter, Heaven, were present to help him commemorate the grand opening on Thursday (Aug. 25).
“I’m just excited for people to be able to drive by a sign and they can say, ‘Oh, wait, that’s a plant based option. Let’s go here.’ That hasn’t existed,” Kevin shared ahead of his restaurant opening. “So for me to be right in the middle of your McDonald’s, your Chick-Fil-As, your Burger Kings, your Wendy’s, and now have Hart Houses in there as well. That’s a dream come true,” the comedian shared. “That’s what I’m working towards.”
Hart House has been a concept in Kevin Hart’s plans for months. The dream of having a brick-and-mortar restaurant became a tangible reality a few weeks ago as Hart House announced its forthcoming grand opening in Westchester. Kevin Hart also took to Instagram to share the news of his new business.
“Tomorrow is the grand opening of @myharthouse people,” Kevin told his supporters on Wednesday (Aug. 24). “This is an absolute dream come true,” the comedian shared. “Los Angeles, please come out and give our amazing food a try. I promise we will not disappoint! I can’t wait to hear ur thoughts on all of our amazing food items.”
Hart House’s menu includes chik’n selections as well as veggie burgers. Comfort food from this restaurant focuses on the healthy aspect of things so diners can eat without the guilt. The price point for offerings is also attractive as many options go for about $5 to $7.
“This world is a very big place,” Kevin shared with the press ahead of his restaurant’s opening. “It doesn’t just have to be one, there could be many — the variety of options is what people love the most,” the comedian shared.
