Bre Tiesi is opening up about her relationship with the other mothers of Nick Cannon’s children.
The “Selling Sunset” star, who shares 4-year-old son Legendary Love with Cannon, recently discussed the family dynamic during an interview with E!’s Hot Goss.
“There is no we — we don’t balance anything,” Bre said. “I try to be nice.”
She said she has tried to build relationships with some of the other moms, but those efforts have not worked out.
“I would love to embrace the more, but the relationships with the mothers are, unfortunately, too difficult to do so,” she said. “We’ve attempted. I think that I’ve tried every which way and I know how I am, and I’m like, ‘Girl, please don’t take me there because we’ll never come back from here.’”
Bre has chosen to step back and leave more of the responsibility to Cannon when it comes to keeping the children connected.
“I’m just going to remove myself so that the children can have the best relationship,” she explained. “It’s not my responsibility to be entirely honest. Nick has to step up, and he has to make an environment and support the children.”
At the same time, she gave Cannon credit for how much time he spends with his kids.
“He spends so much time with his kids,” Bre said. “It’s his entire life, all day every day it’s the kids.”
Cannon is father to 12 children with six women. He shares twins Moroccan and Monroe with Mariah Carey; sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah and daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; Legendary with Bre; and daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole.
He also shares two children with Alyssa Scott. Their son Zen died at 5 months old in December 2021 after being diagnosed with brain cancer. Their daughter, Halo Marie Cannon, was born in December 2022.
With so many siblings in the picture, Bre said she “absolutely” wants Legendary to have strong relationships with them.
As for whether she plans to give him another sibling herself, the answer is no.
“Leggie’s not getting another sibling,” she said. “I am done. I’m like, ‘You need to go hang out with your 11 other siblings, and Mommy won’t be giving you one.’”
