Steph Curry is enjoying life as a champion. The Golden State Warriors player and his wife, Ayesha Curry, shared pictures of the family after the big NBA win.
Ayesha shared a candid of Steph and their son, Canon, posing next to the trophies. “Wow,” Mrs. Curry shared with her Instagram fans. “God is good … all the time. My dudes.”
The Golden State Warriors defeated the Boston Celtics with a final score of 103-90 on Thursday (Jun. 16). Steph Curry was deemed as the team’s most valuable player (MVP) with an amazing 34 points in the game. In all, Steph Curry scored upwards of 93 points during the NBA championships.
“What they gonna say now,” Curry asked after Game 6 of the NBA championships. “[You] hear all the talk about you as a player and us as a team,” he added. “Nobody outside of the Bay Area thought we would be here last October when the season started,” Steph admitted.
The Golden State Warriors suffered several setbacks at the beginning of the season. A number of injuries convinced many critics and a few fans that the team would not be in line for a championship. The tides began to turn, however, as the season progressed.
“Me as a player, obviously this Finals MVP stuff and all that, knew [we were] good enough to win three championships before,” Steph said after Thursday’s game. “But to have the opportunity to go for a fourth [championship], and to accomplish this goal, too, God is great,” Curry declared. “[I’m] Just happy I got to do it.”
The Golden State Warrior’s championship places Steph Curry on track to be one of the greatest NBA players in history. The MVP star averaged 25 points along with five rebounds and six assists this past season. “It’s surreal. Very surreal,” Steph told the press. “We were so far away from it,” he added. “You never know when you’ll get back here.”
Steph and Ayesha Curry have three kids – Canon, Ryan, and Riley – together.
