Ciara and Russell Wilson sent sweet birthday wishes to their son, Future Zahir, on Thursday (May 19). The celebrity parents took to Instagram with pictures and beautiful messages to the youngster.
“My Heart. My Big Boy. The Big 8,” Ciara wrote in reference to Future’s eighth birthday. “Mommy loves you so much and I’m so proud of the sweet boy you’re becoming each day,” the ‘Level Up’ artist said. “It warms my heart to see how you love so beautifully! There’s nothing you can’t do,” Ciara encouraged her son. “Go Future, Go!”
Russell Wilson also took to Instagram with birthday wishes for Future. “Happy Bday Future,” Russell wrote online. “Eight years old,” the celebrity father exclaimed. “You are the greatest blessing in the world to me! You are so full of the fruit of the Spirit of Jesus! Love, Joy, Peace, Forbearance, Kindness, Goodness, and Faithfulness! Galatians 5:22.”
Russell went on to tell Future, “The number 8 represents new beginnings Biblically! I can’t wait to see how God uses you this year! Mommy, Daddy, Sienna, and Win love you to Heaven and back!”
Future Zahir is Ciara’s son with rapper Future. The recording artists were engaged to be married but ended the relationship three months after welcoming their son. Ciara revealed she was the party who ended the union during a 2019 interview on Red Table Talk.
“The one thing I fear in life is really wasting my life,” the ‘Beauty Marks’ singer said. “I really fear that because you realize that time does not stop and it will be the worst scenario to stay in a situation that it’s just not healthy, it’s not going to get any better,” Ciara added. “I realized that I have to start making different decisions.”
Ciara met Russell Wilson months after praying to God for a soulmate. The two married in 2016.
“He and I share the same vision for our babies, which I think makes the world of a difference, that we’re on the same page,” Ciara recently said of her husband during an interview with Sports Illustrated (SI). “It’s important that our kids—you know, they have way more access than we had growing up—so we want to make sure we keep them humble in the process to make sure they do things like having to pick up after themselves and knowing that life isn’t going to be handed to you,” the celebrity mom shared.
Ciara and Russell Wilson have two kids, Win and Sienna, in addition to their oldest son, Future.
