KENYA MOORE’S DAUGHTER, BROOKLYN DALY, IS HER ‘SUNSHINE’

"Beautiful"

Brooklyn Daly is Kenya Moore’s sunshine. The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star recently shared pictures of her little one with social media fans that were nothing short of precious.

One candid featured Brooklyn smiling while posing for the camera. The little one shined from the inside out as photographers took pictures. “My sunshine,” Kenya said of her daughter. “Beautiful,” Cynthia Bailey said of the candid. “Now this is a cutie,” Gizelle Bryant wrote in the comments section of Kenya’s Instagram post.

It was just a few days ago that Kenya Moore stopped by The Real to talk about her life as a working mom. “You are stronger than you know,” Moore said when asked about the lessons she has learned since becoming a mom. “You should live your life for your children,” Kenya added. “Brooklyn comes first in my life. She’s just this little beacon of hope and light, and she’s just amazing,” the celebrity mom shared.

“To have her in my life, I just feel so blessed,” Kenya further beamed. “I just realize I’m so blessed for having her and that time is just so short. Motherhood is just amazing. I just never knew how hard it is to be a mom and to be a career mom, a working mom, and now I’m a single mom.”

Kenya Moore welcomed her daughter in November 2018. She was still married to Brooklyn’s father, Marc Daly, at the time but encountered marital challenges months later that ultimately led to the end of her marriage.

“I never speak ill of her dad to her,” Kenya said of her co-parenting practices with Marc. “So that’s difficult because sometimes you get off the phone and you’re like, ‘Argh.’ But no, never,” the RHOA star added. “I want her to have a positive relationship with him,” Moore continued. “That’s her dad, and he’s always going to be her dad. And I think that men instill self-esteem in their daughters.”

In addition to starring on the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kenya Moore also has a haircare line, Kenya Moore Haircare, that she hopes to pass on to her daughter one day.

“I started this line on Real Housewives of Atlanta because I had this passion for hair care,” Kenya told Loni and Jeannie Mai of The Real. “I was literally almost selling out the back of my car,” Moore explained. “I took my little coins and instead of buying Chanel and all these designers, I put it (sic) into my haircare products. I just wanted people to feel great about their hair. And that’s what the brand is about.”

Keep up with Kenya Moore every Sunday when new episodes of Real Housewives of Atlanta air on Bravo!
