Kenya Moore enjoyed a beach day with her daughter, Brooklyn Daly, this past weekend. The outing came amid the Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star’s custody fight with her ex, Marc Daly.

“Walk with me and I will never lead you in the wrong direction,” Kenya captioned underneath the series of pictures shared on Instagram. The RHOA star was photographed walking alone in one shot. Kenya and Brooklyn took a walk on the boardwalk in two other pictures.

It has been a few weeks since the news of Kenya Moore moving to divorce her husband, Marc Daly, went public. The RHOA reportedly filed for marriage dissolution in June, though Kenya and Marc have been separated for about two years.

Kenya filed for primary custody of her and Marc’s daughter. The RHOA star’s estranged husband, in turn, accused her of launching a child custody battle against him to have a storyline for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Marc Daly has made it clear through his actions that he is not a fan of the spotlight that Reality TV brings. It took nearly an entire season, and several accusations of Kenya lying about being married, for Marc to make a short appearance during Season 10 of RHOA. The restauranteur walked off the set during Season 13 of the reality series after things at his charity event began to unfold in a negative manner.

Kenya Moore was surprised by news of Marc’s plans to divorce her after the charity event fiasco. Many fans encouraged her to go through with the divorce. Kenya, however, expressed her desire to try everything to make her marriage work before calling it quits.

“I’m a girl who always knows what I want and to be placed in a position where it’s, like, you had moved on and to now think that maybe, am I doing the right thing,” Moore asked during an interview with Entertainment Tonight (ET). “Should I allow this person to have another chance,” the RHOA star further questioned. “Not just for the sake of a child, because I don’t think you should stay together for the sake of a child, but … the sanctity of marriage is important to me, and those vows are important to me.”
