Serena Williams and her daughter, Alexis Olympia, absolutely slayed during their vacation in Paris, France. The tennis champion recently shared a series of pictures that featured her with her daughter who wore a dress that was identical to her mom’s outfit.
Serena and Alexis Olympia wore dresses by Balmain. Both the celebrity mom and her daughter were ready for their close-ups as they gave the camera their undivided attention. “Hey @olympiaohanian, remember that time when we were in Paris,” Serena asked her daughter in her Instagram post. “And we slayyyyyyeddddd,” Williams said.
Serena has been quite busy making her mark in the fashion sphere. It was just a few months ago that the celebrity shared how she hoped to empower women through her style on the tennis court.
“I was like, I want to wear bling on the court, but I wanted it to be really quality, yet, being able to endure me hitting balls at 130 miles per hour,” Serena said last year of her partnership with Zales for jewelry. “I actually bought a lot of my jewelry there and won championships,” Williams shared. “For me, I just have this natural connection to Zales. Because they’ve been a part of my life and they had no idea.”
Some have connected Serena’s success in tennis to the jewelry she wears while competing. “I’m not superstitious,” the celebrity stressed during her recent conversation with the press. “Life is so much more than winning,” Serena further explained.
“So, that’s what our jewelry is about,” the celebrity added when discussing her personal brand. “It’s about feeling good about yourself every day and reminding yourself. And small reminders, that you can gift or you can purchase, that you look at everyday and say, ‘Okay, I’m a winner,’ or, ‘I’ve got this.'”
