Ice-T, Coco Austin, Remy Ma, and Papoose enjoyed a screening of PAW Patrol: The Movie with their daughters. Reminisce and her dad served as excellent hosts to Chanel Nicole and her parents.
“My baby @reminiscemackenzie did a great job hosting the #pawpatrolmovie with me today,” Papoose said after the screening convened. “The Queen @remyma came out to show her support,” the celebrity father said. “Peace to my family @icet his amazing wife @coco and beautiful daughter Chanel. Glad we finally got a chance to do something with the kids.”
PAW Patrol: The Movie is quite the star-studded film. Kim Kardashian, Tyler Perry, Marsai Martin, and Yara Shahidi are just a few of Hollywood’s more popular celebrities who have roles in the children’s movie.
“PAW Patrol has got a wonderful thing going for it and that a lot of these actors have kids who are big fans of the show,” Cal Brunker, the film’s director, tells Original-CIN. “It makes that conversation a lot easier when they were approached to do the film,” the director shares.
“For instance, I wasn’t on the phone, but I think the conversation with Tyler Perry went something like they called to ask him if he wanted to be in Paw Patrol. He probably looked down at his son and said, ‘Should Daddy do Paw Patrol?’ And his kid likely said, ‘Of course!’
Brinker and production capitalized on the influence of PAW Patrol by trying to connect with more A-list celebrities. “Jimmy Kimmel joked about it a lot on his show and he’s got a little one,” Brunker shares with Original-CIN. “That really ended up being a gift for us because we got to work with a really wonderful cast who brought so much to it and they’ve been incredibly supportive of the movie.”
PAW Patrol: The Movie comes to theaters and Paramount+ on Friday, August 20, 2021.
