Shai Moss may be a spitting image of her dad Bow Wow, but when it comes to her dance moves, she seemingly got it from her mom Joie Chavis!
On Monday, the eight-year-old took to Instagram to post a video of her doing the latest dance craze: The Savage Challenge. In the clip, Shai can be seen busting out a few dance moves to Megan Thee Stallion’s new song, Savage.

“Who saw my #savagechallenge ? How’d i do?” Shai posed to her more than 60,000 followers on Instagram.
“You killed it girl. Imma need you to choreograph for me,” one follower wrote.
Another added, “Killed it!!! This is the best one out there so far! Good job Shai girl!”
Like many kids her age, Shai is an avid Tik Toker. The rising talent often posts videos of herself dancing on the platform. In several Tik Tok clips, Shai can be seen doing several dance challenges with her mom, who is a professional dancer.
Joie recently launched a YouTube channel which focuses on fitness, dance, and healthy living. The mom of two also touches on motherhood on her channel.
“The best thing about having kids is I would say is you really get to look at what you saw growing up and what you experienced and then things that you’ve done in your life and you can really make a change in your children so that they don’t repeat the same cycle or see the same things,” she said in a recent Instagram Live in anticipation of the launch of her YouTube channel. “It’s taking all of the things I’m not proud of or the things that I’ve done and making sure my children are aware and know not to do those things or make certain mistakes.”

Bow Wow, for one, has a great appreciation for his child’s mother. “I am so proud of this woman!” he previously said on Instagram. “When I say get it on ya own she did that. A true inspiration for all women. I know you hate when I post you because of the attention, but one must acknowledge a REAL 1. My friend my patna my ace the one who tells me to tighten up when I need it. The mother of my daughter is killing sh*t!
Chavis has two children, 8-year-old daughter Shai and 1-year-old son Hendrix, with rappers Bow Wow and Future, respectively.
