Do El Debarge and Pebbles have a son? Apparently so. Sebastian ‘Tian’ McKissack is slated to release a tell-all memoir called Deceptions of Achieving, and El Debarge and Pebbles are listed as being his mom and dad.

The 20-year-old explains why he hid the truth for so long, telling readers that his parents didn’t wantnto acknowledge him and thus had no desire to spend quality time with their son. “She [Pebbles] came to my 10th birthday party…that’s about it,” writes the author. “We did have frequent phone conversations, so I’ve known her all my life.”

Although Sebastian claims that his parents wanted little to do with him, Etterlene DeBarge, who is El Debarge’s mother, has told media that her son in no way shunned Sebastian. “My son [EL] never neglected him and I made sure of that,” said the star’s mother a few months back. “Sebastian lived with me from 2007-2009 due to his behavioral problems so if he is saying he was completely neglected by my side of the family it’s a LIE!”

El Debarge is a notable R&B singer who gained much acclaim in the 1980s and 1990s. Further comment from the artist has not been given.
