Naturi Naughton is enjoying motherhood with her newborn!
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the actress shared never-before seen photos of her baby boy with the caption, “Not bad for a #NewMommy of 2! #BabyTru is a dream come true!”
She added the hashtaggs, “#MommyLife #6weekspostpartum #FeelGoodLookGood #WearingActualClothesNow #PajamasBeGone.”
The 39-year-old Queens star and husband Two Lewis welcomed their first baby together, son Tru Xavier Naughton Lewis, on May 27. The tiny tot weighed in at 6 lbs., 12 oz., and measured 20 in. long.
Naughton-Lewis and her husband initially met in 2019 through Naturi’s’ former Power co-star, Omari Hardwick. The pair later married in 2022 and announced they were expecting in early 2023.
“When I found out [I was pregnant], I was shooting a movie and still on a high from my wedding, so it felt like the perfect way to start a new chapter with my hubby! I wrapped my two pregnancy tests in pretty tissue paper and put it in a cute little gift bag and told him I had a belated birthday gift for him,” Naughton told People in February. “It was such a special moment.”
The entertainer, who already has a five-year-old daughter, shared that baby Tru would be her husband’s first child.
“We look forward to bonding in a new way and actually applying our wedding vows on this journey to parenthood! This is Two’s first baby, so he’s extra excited to create another human,” she continued. “Even through the many challenges that can occur with pregnancy, we want to push ourselves to be the best partners and the best parents we can be!”
Adding, “My daughter is especially happy to be getting a younger sibling, so I’m excited to share this joy as a family.”
