Love and Hip Hop: Miami (LHHMIA) star Amara La Negra is ready to share the meaning behind her daughters’ names. The Reality TV star gave insight into the process of naming her twins during a recent interview.
“I am working on music right now, again,” Amara shared with the press. “I feel that my daughters have also given me a different drive,” the LHHMIA star said. “I’m more ambitious now than I was before,” Amara revealed. ‘So I’m ready to get back on stage.”
It has been just over a year since Amara La Negra welcomed her twin daughters. “One of them is called Sumajestad, which means ‘Your Majesty.’ And the other one is called Sualtesa, which means ‘Your Highness,’” the celebrity mom shared. “So ‘Your Majesty’ and ‘Your Highness’ are my daughters,” Amara continued. “And eventually, ‘Your Excellency,’ if I get to have a son,” she added.
Those who have watched Love and Hip Hop: Miami understand that Amara has a lively personality. The celebrity mom’s biggest fans were not necessarily surprised to learn of her daughters’ monikers. Some of the medical staff at the hospital, however, did not believe Amara was serious when she put Sumajestad and Sualtesa on the birth certificates.
“They gave me the birth certificate and I was filling it in,” Amara said of her experience after giving birth to her twins last year. “[The medical staff at the hospital] were like, ‘Is this the real name? Your Highness?’ I’m like, ‘Yes.’ [They asked], ‘Are you sure?’ [I said], ‘Your Highness and Your Majesty are my daughters. Thank you.’”
Some have accused Amara La Negra of using her kids for clout. “I always said that when I had my children I was going to put them to work,” the Reality TV star shared. “A lot of people criticize me. A lot of people are like, ‘Wow! You’re taking advantage of your daughters to get money and monetize.’ I’m like, ‘Uh, yeah. Do you see how expensive life is now?’ Amara shared.
“They have a children’s clothing line. I also am working on their children’s book. And as soon as they can talk, I’m doing an album,” the celebrity mom said of her plans to further introduce her daughters to the world of business in the coming years.
