Fans are accusing Yandy Smith of using her adopted daughter, Infinity, for a storyline. The rumor mills began to turn after the most recent episode of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta (LHHATL) aired on Monday (July 19).
Infinity expressed anger over a candid that featured Yandy, Mendeecees, and the kids. The young adult was not present to pose for the picture as she was spending quality time with her biological family members. Infinity still grew angry about the situation because Mendeecees failed to name her as part of the family. Infinity ultimately threatened to release a tell-all book about her life as Yandy’s foster child, which caused Mendeecees to jump into the role of peacemaker.
Some viewed Infinity’s reaction to the family’s holiday photo as a simple family quarrel. Others, however, saw the young adult’s anger as a sign of something bigger.

“@yandysmith you cannot tell a child you are her mother and then rid yourself of her when she messes up,” one fan tweeted in reference to Yandy Smith taking significant measures after Infinity became involved with an older love interest. “All children mess up and make decisions we don’t like,” the Twitter user added.
“A mother’s love is unconditional and she sees your love is not.” Several critics agreed with the comment with one fan saying, “SO MUCH this. It’s clear Yandy was using that poor girl as a storyline.”
Still, there were some who accused Infinity of trying to gain clout as Yandy’s foster daughter. “That girl wanted be grown thinking she can do what she wants under somebody else’s roof,” one supporter shared after watching a clip of Yandy and Infinity attempt to hash out their differences.
“It was always something off about Infinity,” another fan said. “She doesn’t seem genuine and she’s a little too entitled for (sic) me,” the social media follower explained. “Child or not, she’s clearly looking for clout. Like a tell-all book? LMAO, girl bye.”

Yandy Smith adopted Infinity when she was a teenager. The young adult is now pursuing a degree in college. Yandy and Mendeecees have two kids, Sklar and Omere, together. Mendeecees also has an older son named Mendeecees Jr. from a previous relationship.
