Gucci Mane and wife Keyshia Ka’oir have welcomed their baby girl! The new parents took to their Instagram earlier today to share that the welcomed the new addition to the family yesterday(2/8/2023).
“I’m so thankful that my baby girl is here and she so pretty and healthy 2/8/23 7lbs 2oz ICELAND DAVIS,” Gucci captioned alongside a photo of him and Ka’oir sitting on a hospital bed while doting on their newborn.
Keyshia echoed the same sentiment as her husband and wrote, “Our little princess is here! Beautiful & Healthy!ICELAND KA’OIR DAVIS💞2/8/23.”
Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’Oir are already parents to a two-year-old son named Ice Davis. The couple also have kids from previous relationships. Gucci has a son named, Keitheon, from a previous relationship with his ex Sheena Evans. The rapper, however, recently shared that Ice made him feel like a first-time father.
“Me and the mother [of my oldest son] were kind of like strangers,” Gucci shared with Billboard. “I never knew how much attention you got to pay to a baby,” he added. “It’s not easy,” Gucci said of his experience with rearing Ice from birth. “It’s a great thing and I love it, but it’s definitely challenging to be a parent,” the rapper admitted.
Keyshia has two daughters and a son from a previous relationship. The entrepreneur rarely posts photo of her three oldest kids, which recently led fans to ask why her children are never posted. In response, Ka’oir wrote, “Dem ‘Otha kids’ don’t wanna get posted and they not gonna be posted so guess what!!!? Get used to it! Now carry on.”
For years, Keyshia has had to endure the rumors that she is hiding her oldest children away in Jamaica, where she’s originally from. During an appearance on The Wendy Williams Show in 2017, however, she shut down those rumors. “I left Jamaica at 10 years old after seeing my dad be brutally murdered,” she revealed. “I came to America at 10, [and] did all my schooling here. There’s no way I would have three kids at 10. It just doesn’t make sense.”
