KEVIN GARNETT WILL PAY MOTHER OF YOUNGEST DAUGHTER CHILD SUPPORT

"Paternity"

Former NBA player Kevin Garnett will give the mother of his youngest child, Naya Garnett, financial support. Court documents obtained by The Blast reveal the star athlete’s plans to pay Necat Ackman child support.

Ackman filed for support last year after revealing she and Garnett had a love child who was two years old at the time. According to The Blast,

“On Friday, June 3, 2022, Akman filed the custody case saying ‘(Garnett) and I have signed a voluntary declaration of parentage or paternity regarding the minor children.’ But, she is asking for the court to make the NBA star “provide medical insurance for the minor child, contribute to add-on expenses incurred on behalf of the minor child, including but not limited to uninsured medical expenses, childcare costs relating to her employment, payment of preschool and private school tuition, and extracurricular activities.”

Necat was adamant about establishing an agreement for child support in California, which caused many to believe she was planning to move West. Both she and Kevin, however, remained quiet about their personal affairs on social media.

Still, Kevin wrote in a statement that he was indeed the father of Necat’s child. “I hereby acknowledge that I am the biological father of the child named above,” the celebrity dad wrote in a document a few months back.

Naya is one of two children Kevin Garnett parents. The former NBA player also has a daughter named Capri whom he welcomed in 2008 with his then-wife Brandi.

Both Kevin and Brandi ended their union a few months back with him being ordered to pay $100,000 per month in child and spousal support. The ruling came after Brandi fought the prenuptial agreement she signed, which stated that she would receive no more than $1 million from Kevin in the instance of divorce.

The exact amount of child support Necat Ackman will receive for Naya is not abundantly clear. Some suspect that the monthly payments will be well over $10,000 given Kevin’s status as a high-income earner.
