Christmas is this weekend! And while the little ones wait with baited breath for Santa and his reindeer to come, there is one thing that you can do to pass the time before bed as a family…binge watch some of our favorite Christmas movies! If you have already seen this movie, there is nothing wrong with watching it again and making it a yearly holiday tradition.

4. Black Nativity

Black Nativity, according to, follows the story of Langston (Jacob Latimore), who is a street-smart Baltimore teen, that lives with his single mother Naima (Jennifer Hudson). It’s Christmas, and this year Jordan is traveling to New York City for a stay with his distant relatives Rev. Cornell (Forest Whitaker) and Aretha Cobbs (Angela Bassett). When Rev. Cornell’s strict rules prove too oppressive for the rebellious teen to handle, he decides to embark upon an eye-opening journey to spend the holidays with his mother, discovering the true importance of faith and family.

5. Inventing the Christmas Prince

The 2022 original Hallmark Channel movie is unquestionably one that you should have on your list. The movie follows the Shelby, who is on the cusp of quitting her job when her daughter is convinced that Shelby’s boss is actually the Christmas prince from a made up story that Shelby told her. Who know, maybe he actually is! Inventing the Christmas Prince stars Tamera Mowry-Housely, Ronnie Rowe, Isabel Birch, among others.
