Miracle Watts is keeping it real about her post-pregnancy journey. The P-Valley star took to Instagram on Wednesday (Oct. 19) to share her experience with weight loss after giving birth.
Miracle uploaded candids of herself that featured her stomach, which still featured a protruding navel. “I was going back and forth on posting,” the actress admitted. “But then I was like F$&@ it, somebody has to keep it real (it’s my duty to moms),” Miracle shared.
“Not every woman snaps back without hard work,” the P-Valley star said of her body’s transformation post-pregnancy. “This is coming from a person whom everyone thought was going to snap back with no stretch marks (beautiful stories),” she added. “I just wouldn’t feel like my authentic self to continue posting and hiding who I am today,” Miracle told her fans. “I’m not perfect [and] neither is my body,” she declared.
“I’m a mother, and I AM PERFECTLY me,” Watts exclaimed in her social media post. “Love yourself through it all and KEEP IT SEXY,” the new mom admonished her supporters.
Miracle Watts and her boyfriend, Tyler Lepley, welcomed their son, Xi Lei Lepley, last week. The newborn made them parents for the first time.
“My kings,” Miracle said in reference to her son and boyfriend. The celebrity mom also uploaded pictures of her family to announce her little one’s arrival.
Watts took fans on a journey throughout her expectancy. The actress shared several pictures that kept her supporters aware of how far along she was in her pregnancy.
One Instagram post showcased Miracle’s push present, which her boyfriend gifted her weeks before she went into labor. The Mercedes-Benz G500 was a luxurious surprise with all the bells and whistles one could imagine for an SUV.
“This has been an amazing pregnancy,” Miracle said of her first expectancy. “I am blessed beyond measure and so thankful for my partner,” the actress continued. “You have made this journey such a peaceful breeze.”
