Coco Austin is bringing her daughter, Chanel Nicole, into the world of fashion. The celebrity mom shared a video clip that showed her daughter getting ready for a fashion show. Chanel bathed in the kitchen sink, which prompted mixed reviews from Coco’s fans.
Some loved the idea of the little one bathing in the sink. “Girl, how deep is your sink,” one social media follower asked. “I need this in my life,” the supporter declared. Other Instagram subscribers took issue with Coco bathing her daughter.
“She’s definitely old enough to bathe herself,” one critic declared. “With the breastfeeding and all, it’s creepy how hard she is trying to keep this girl in an infantile stage.” Another social media user agreed.
“I thinks she a bit too old for the sink,” the critic said. “If she can put her lil heels on, she can get in the shower or bath tube,” the social media user added. “I understand it’s your only child, but she’s growing up and some things aren’t for the world to see, such as her in the bath.”
Coco Austin has been in the spotlight for her parenting tactics since announcing her decision to continue breastfeeding her daughter beyond the toddler year. The celebrity mom admitted that the act of nursing has evolved into more of a bonding tool than a means to provide Chanel with the nutrition she needs to thrive. Still, critics have commented on Coco’s commitment to nursing her daughter.
“I’m so blessed to have this unbelievable experience in this thing called nursing,” Coco shared when addressing her critics last year. “It’s more of a comfort thing now,” she added. “Nap time and night time are our time,” the celebrity mom declared.
“Why take that away from her,” Coco asked during a separate interview with Us Weekly. “If she doesn’t want it, all right, that’s where you stop it,” Coco revealed. “But I’m not just going to say no.”
Chanel Nicole is Coco Austin’s only child with her husband, Ice-T.
