Nia Long officially has a fifth-grade student! Kez Sunday Udoka started school earlier this week. He took a picture before heading off for a day of classes to his mom’s delight.

“There he is … my yummy baby boy,” Nia told her social media fans. The celebrity mom uploaded a candid of her son holding a sign that read, “1st Day of 5th Grade – 2022.” Kez stood smiling wide posing for the picture. “So handsome,” Tina Lawson said. “Girl, if he ain’t your twin,” Holly Robinson-Peete shared.
Kez is Nia Long’s son with Ime Udoka. The youngster was born in 2011 and made his brother, Massai, an older sibling. “I am the happiest that I’ve been probably in my life,” Nia shared months after giving birth to Kez.
“Kez Sunday has given me a bit of a rebirth and it’s really nice because I’m able to look at life through his eyes,” Long told the press. “You have to pay attention to the smallest thing from the birds chirping to the dog barking across the street,” the celebrity mom shared. “These are the things that make the world go around today. When you look at life in its simplest form, stress, and worry isn’t the cornerstone of your life. Experiencing life through that lens is refreshing.”
Nia Long has significantly reduced her work schedule to enjoy her life as a mom. “I’m just trying to balance my personal life with my career,” the celebrity mom said. “Both are equally important and the one thing I don’t want to have is regrets in not having these moments with my babies,” Long revealed. “I am a true believer that good work finds you and I hope that I’ve established enough of a career of myself that when they want Nia Long they’ll find Nia Long,” the celebrity mom shared.
