Based on the DC comic book series, Black Adam is perhaps one of the most awaited new upcoming movies of the season. Fans of the DC Universe are on pins and needles and cannot wait until the movie’s debut on October 21. Well, Warner Bros and New Line are keeping fans on the line with bated breath as they have just dropped a new Black Adam trailer and it is a must-see.

In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was bestowed the almighty powers of the gods. After using these powers for vengeance, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Nearly 5,000 years have passed and Black Adam has gone from man, to myth, to legend. Now released, his unique form of justice, born out of rage, is challenged by modern day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher (Noah Centineo) and Cyclone (Quintessa Swindell).
The upcoming movie will not only star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as the title character, Black Adam, it will also star Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Fate, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Mo Amer and Bodhi Sabongui.
Back in the summer, Johnson showed up to San Diego Comic-Con fully clad in his Black Adam gear to talk about the talk about the movie.

“Hall H, you have been warned,” the former WWE wrestling sensation boomed. “The DC universe will never be the same again.”
After a quick wordrobe change, Johnson came back to the San Diego Comic-Con stage and continued talking about the movie and working with director Jaume Collet-Serra.

“It has been a long journey filled with passion and grit to push Black Adam along — it has been over 10 years,” Johnson said. “To be here at Comic-Con, Hall H, representing a DC hero, an anti-hero, is a dream come true. When I started 20 years ago, many moons ago, I would bring movies here and hope people would love it. How can we create something that is fresh and unique… show and create something that’s never been done?”
He wrapped up by leaving fans with his overall goal for the project.
“My goal is to usher in a new era in the DC universe…What is it like to build out the DC universe with the Justice Society as well.”
