"The Side-Eye, Though"

Serena Williams could not find one picture that expressed the love her family shares. Such is the reason why the tennis star shared several photos that represented the love in the Ohanian household.

Williams uploaded several pictures on Wednesday (Sept. 22) that featured her and her husband, Alexis Ohanian, showering their daughter, Alexis Olympia, with kisses. “I could not pick just one pic to encapsulate our love for one another,” Serena said of the series of photos taken by Jessica Steindoff.

“The side-eye, though,” Alexis Ohanian wrote in reference to his daughter giving her mom a look of annoyance in one candid. The youngster gives her father the same look in another picture. “You guys are the cutest,” a fan said in response to the pictures.

Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian are considered relationship goals by many who adore the way the celebrities support each other. It was just a few weeks ago that Alexis praised his wife for maintaining a good balance between work and home life.

“One thing that I’m still working on is balancing that with time off, with time away, with time to reset and recharge,” Alexis said during an interview with CBS This Morning. “Something [Serena’s] really good at is shutting it off and focusing on family time or personal time,” the celebrity father said.

Serena is also good at promoting her daughter’s favorite doll, Qai Qai. The toy has its own Instagram page that has garnered thousands of followers. Qai Qai also has a coloring book, partially made possible by Adobe and Invisible Universe, that encourages individualism and strength.

“I think every parent really wants their child – son or daughter – to feel like they have infinite opportunity; to have the ability to explore and find what really motivates them and interests them and to keep that curiosity as long as possible,” Alexis recently said while discussing Qai Qai’s personality, which continues to take the Internet by storm.

“I think there’s a lot of people who have resonated with this idea of a really mischievous, and fun, and clever, and brave, and strong little girl doll and I’m excited to see all the places she goes and I do hope it can inspire kids – boys, girls, Black, white – all over the world to just have fun and dream,” the celebrity father shared.

You can get caught up with Qai Qai on the doll’s Instagram page.
