Tasha Cobbs and her husband Kenneth Leonard are celebrating their daughter, Symphony Leonard, who graduated from elementary school earlier this week. Both Tasha and Kenneth took to Instagram to celebrate Symphony’s accomplishment.
“Congratulations Baby Girl,” Tasha exclaimed online. “We are so proud of you,” the Gospel singer continued. “You are headed to middle school and we know you’re gonna do soooo well (sic)! We see you strutting into Greater,” Tasha declared.
Kenneth Leonard also gave his daughter encouraging words. “Wow,” the celebrity father began. “I’m so proud of my baby girl,” the pastor told his social media fans. “She’s headed to middle school,” Kenneth exclaimed. “I’m so excited for what God has for you,” Kenneth wrote to Symphony. “Love you.”
It has been five years since Tasha Cobbs and Kenneth Leonard wed and established a blended family in which she received three bonus kids. “After a year of pre-marital counseling and much planning, the timing was finally perfect,” Tasha told the press after wedding her husband. The ceremony caught a few family friends by surprise as Tasha and Kenneth did not broadcast their plans to get married. “It was incredible to be able to surprise those closest to us,” Tasha said.
Another surprise came to fans of Tasha Cobbs and Kenneth Leonard as the celebrity couple adopted a son a few months ago. “Asher means happy,” Tasha said of her son’s name. “His middle name means ‘Chosen by God’ and he literally lives up to his name,” the recording artist added. “He wakes up laughing. He’s laughing all day unless he’s asleep. He loves to play.”
Asher joined his mom onstage at her live recording last weekend. The youngster greeted the crowd in between Tasha’s lineup of stellar singers who included Jennifer Hudson, Natalie Grant, and Karen Clark-Sheard. Asher celebrates his first birthday in the coming weeks.
