LAURA GOVAN SCREAMS ‘I DID IT’ AT HER AND GILBERT ARENAS SON’S GRADUATION

"Congratulations And Thank Me"

Laura Govan celebrated at the graduation ceremony of her and Gilbert Arenas’ son, Alijah Arenas, by screaming, “I did it.” The celebrity mom also took to InstaStories to give herself accolades for making sacrifices as a single parent that led to her son’s success.

“My baby,” Laura said of her son. “Congratulations and thank me for the drives, washing your clothes, cleaning your room, the house, having a job to pay for your education,” Govan added. “Thank me for paying the water bill for the showers [and] all those [practices] I had to take you to. And it was worth it. I love you.”

Laura Govan further doted on her efforts by saying, “I Did It! You’re welcome. You’re more than deserving … EveryThing you do and are is worth the 5 AM wakes, drives, gas, new car every year cuz (sic) of miles of driving, the sacrifices that I have to make to make sure you’re good, is all worth it.”

“When you’re a straight ‘A’ student without complaints. The great brother you are to your siblings and the son you are to me! Life is a storm my son and it all comes down to how I prepare you to survive, and I’ve done a d*mn great job! I got your front and back on ever (sic) chapter. Let’s close this book and start a new. I’m ready. I know you are, so let’s rock! Love you and I’m so proud of you.”

Gilbert Arenas was in attendance at his son’s graduation but did not sit near his ex. Some may remember Laura Govan scrutinizing her children’s father a few years back. The Basketball Wives star accused her ex of letting eight months pass without seeing his kids.

“I have to set the record straight,” Laura wrote online in December 2018. “My kids are my life and they are the only thing we have in common,” the celebrity mom shared with her ex. “And so I’m posting this message, to reinforce the fact that everything I do is for them. Let’s redirect your energy not on buying gifts for others but time spent with your children,” Laura advised Gilbert. “Eight months is a long time without time spent with NO excuse.”

Gilbert Arenas has four kids – Alijah, Aloni, Izela, and Hamiley – with Laura Govan.
