Chris Brown and Nia Guzman are in celebration mode as their daughter, Royalty Brown, commemorates her eighth birthday. Video footage of Chris surprising his little one with balloons and treats for her special day spread across social media on Friday (May 27).
“THIS IS EIGHT,” Nia Guzman exclaimed on her Instagram page. “Happy birthday @missroyaltybrown,” the doting mom continued. “I thank GOD every day for choosing me to be your mommy! I love you! We going UPPPPPP THIS WEEKEND!”
Royalty is Chris Brown’s oldest child. The youngster came at a time when her father needed change. “Learning how to be a dad, especially learning how to take care of somebody else, you know, I barely know how to brush my teeth in the morning,” Chris said of his then-new role during a 2015 interview with Ryan Seacrest.
“It’s actually great,” the celebrity father added. “It’s very humbling. You know, it’s very calming,” Chris said. “I think I was a lot, you know, rambunctious, very hyper as a kid but now seeing that 10 times over, my daughter’s kinda like mellowing me out.”
Royalty Brown mellowed her father out and continues to exhibit his characteristics when it comes to performing. It was just a few weeks ago that the youngster took part in a school recital that allowed her to exercise her natural gift of dance. Nia took to Instagram after the recital to give her daughter flowers for an excellent performance.
“You made your family so proud,” Nia told Royalty. “Looks like that talent runs in the blood,” one social media follower said in reference to Chris Brown’s status as a great entertainer. “Royalty is so talented like Chris, her father,” another Instagram fan shared.
Royalty Brown is one of two children Chris Brown fathers. The recording artist’s son, Aeko Brown, turns 3-years-old later this year.
