Family is everything! After 13 years of anticipation, James Cameron returns with another installment of Avatar that is sure to bring out the emotions of everyone who watches.
In Avatar: The Way of Water, the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their kids) have a long road ahead of them as they strive to stay together and safe. No matter what amount of trouble that may come their way, Jake instills the importance of unity.
Avatar made history as the highest-grossing film ever. The success of the initial film led James Cameron and producers to create two more sequels, which are both forthcoming.
“Ultimately, the sequels are a story about family, and the lengths parents will go through to keep that family together and keep them safe,” producer Jon Landau shared with Entertainment Weekly (EW) back in December. “I always say that Jim’s movies have universal themes,” Landau added. “And really, there’s no more universal theme than family.”
Avatar: The Way of Water debuts in theaters on December 16, 2022.
