LUDACRIS RECEIVES HONORAY DEGREE FROM GSU WITH WIFE AND KIDS CHEERING FROM THE SIDELINE

"We Are All So Proud Of You"

This graduation season is extra special for Ludacris who received his honorary undergraduate degree from Georgia State University (GSU). The rapper’s wife, Eudoxie Bridges, shared video footage from the commencement ceremony.

Ludacris had a cheering section as his wife and their daughters made celebratory noise while watching him leave the Rialto Center for the Arts after receiving his degree. “What a beautiful day,” Eudoxie wrote in an Instagram post. “Congratulations @ludacris,” the proud wife exclaimed. “We are all so proud of you.”

Some did not know Ludacris was working towards his bachelor’s degree before making it big in the music industry. “I went to this school and I never finished my credits,” the recording artist revealed during an interview after his commencement ceremony this past weekend.

“For them to come back and give me this honorary degree, it means the world to me, just for the simple fact that I always knew I wanted to come back,” Ludacris added. “I always wanted to finish. I’m not a person who starts things and doesn’t finish. For me, it’s a full-circle moment.”

Ludacris spoke about his years in the music industry during the GSU commencement ceremony. The recording artist also encouraged graduates to strive to be leaders in their communities.

“Our society wants positive change,” Ludacris said during his speech segment at the ceremony. “They’re clamoring for it. They’re not satisfied with the status quo at all,” the rapper added.

Ludacris took to Instagram after his graduation ceremony at the Rialto Center for the Arts with video clips and pictures from his big day. “It’s official,” the entertainer told his social media followers. “Class of 2022 stand up,” Ludacris exclaimed. “Truly one of the happiest days of my entire life.”

Dozens congratulated the entertainer on receiving his honorary degree. “This is everything,” Monica Denise shared in the comments section of Eudoxie’s Instagram post. “So proud of you Chris!”
