Carmelo Anthony’s son, Kiyan, is dunking hoops just like his father. The youngster was recently filmed while playing basketball and his dad couldn’t have been more proud while watching from the sidelines.
Carmelo smiled from ear to ear while his son worked to score points for his team. Kiyan made certain to show off his best skills as his dad watched with pride. “Very good player with his teammates,” one BCK Instagram subscriber said. “Good looking young man mixed with his mom and daddy looks,” the fan added. Another social media follower said, “Like father, like son.”
Carmelo Anthony co-parents his son with his estranged wife, La La Anthony. Kiyan’s mom shared the joys of working alongside her estranged husband during an interview with ESSENCE in 2020.

“My son is at the center of everything,” La La told the press. “He is watching us, so if we’re out here being reckless or not leading with love, then what kind of example are we setting for him about how he should treat women or how people treat and love each other,” the celebrity mom asked.
“A lot of times, people forget that, and I understand, because you get emotional when you’re going through different things in relationships,” La La continued. “But I always want my son to be able to say, ‘No matter what, my parents loved each other. My parents loved me.'”

Kiyan Anthony celebrated his fifteenth birthday in March. The youngster asked for a tattoo well in advance of his sixteenth birthday, which is next year, in hopes of his mom giving thumbs up to his request.
“I did get my first tattoo at 15/16 years old but that first one I regret so bad,” La La told her social media fans in an Instagram post. “Funny how when you have a kid the same things happen all over again,” the celebrity mom added. “But I do think 16 is too young for @kiyananthony.”
