Kim Kardashian indeed photoshopped her niece, True Thompson, in a photo that has gone viral thanks to a TikTok user who shed light on the doctored images. The center of the drama, according to Kim, had everything to do with aesthetics.
The pictures in question date back to December 2021. Kim Kardashian’s youngest daughter, Chicago West, went to Disneyland with her cousin, Stormi Webster. Chicago, who was wearing pink, decided to pose for a picture with Stormi whose attire coordinated well with her cousin. Kim thought the candid was beyond precious and a perfect fit for her Instagram page, which bolstered various shades of pink. Stormi’s mom, Kylie Jenner, however, was not in agreement with her older sister sharing the picture online.
“OK, OK, sooooo (sic) you know I am all about my aesthetic! And my IG grid is pink and blue lately. Isn’t it so cute and well planned out!” she writes alongside a picture of her Instagram page.
“The original pics were Stormi,” Kim confessed in her explanation on Instagram. “However, I asked @kyliejenner if I could post them and she said she wasn’t really feeling posting at the moment and so I respect that,” Kardashian shared. “But it wasn’t going to mess up my IG feed. Chi was wearing pink and it matched perfectly,” the Kardashians star continued.
“It wasn’t the aesthetic I was going for and I can own up to that,” Kim went on to tell her social media fans and critics. “You know how much a good aesthetic means to my soul And I will be dammed [sic] if Kylie will ruin that for me and mess up my IG grid. So thank you True for taking one for the team,” Kim mused.
A TikTok user shed light on the inconsistencies in the picture of True and Chicago that Kim shared on her Instagram page back in January. Khloe Kardashian admitted the candid was photoshopped prior to the social media post going viral. The celebrity mom shared the revelation after admitting her daughter visited Disneyland “for the first time” with after Kim allegedly took a picture with True and Chicago together at the theme park.
True Thompson is Khloe Kardashian’s daughter with Tristan Thompson. Chicago is one of four children Kim Kardashian has with her estranged husband, Kanye West. Stormi Webster is Kylie Jenner’s daughter with Travis Scott.
