North West was responsible for the splashes of color Kim Kardashian and her kids wore when taking pictures for the cover of Vogue in March. The Kardashians star recently told Ellen DeGeneres that her oldest daughter found the previous style too bland.
“They were all going to wear black,” Kim shared. “[North] walked out and was like, ‘This is so boring. I can’t believe this is what we’re gonna wear. I’m gonna dress everyone,'” the Reality TV star said. “And she went in everyone’s closet, picked it all out.”
Kim and the kids wore casual attire to grace the cover of Vogue for the magazine’s March 2022 issue. North dressed her youngest brother, Psalm, in beige capri pants with a blue t-shirt and jacket. She reserved green and purple wear for Saint. North dressed her younger sister, Chicago, in pink and white with pink boots as the highlight of the outfit.
“North is very opinionated when it comes to what I’m wearing,” Kim revealed during her recent interview. “She’ll always complain when I’m wearing too much black,” the SKIMS owner revealed. “I showed up at her school on Valentine’s Day wearing head-to-toe pink, and she got so excited she ran over and hugged me. [Of course] she opened my coat, saw the black lining, and says, ‘Mom, you’re still wearing black.'”
Getting kids mentally prepared for a photoshoot is a task in itself. “I say this all the time, I mean, any time I have to do a photoshoot with my kids or the cousins, it’s like the worst day of my life,” Kim Kardashian told Ellen. “And I always say I’ll never do it again but then you get amazing pictures like this,” the Reality TV star added. “It’s so perfect and cute.”
Kim Kardashian has four kids with her estranged husband, Kanye West. North West celebrates her ninth birthday in June.
