Iggy Azalea gave fans a rare treat earlier this week. The recording artist shared a picture of her son with Playboi Carti after vowing to keep the little one away from the spotlight.
Onyx gave the camera his full attention for the perfect shot. “Just two models taking out passport pics,” Iggy said of the Instagram post, which also featured her giving energy to the camera.
Many could not believe the rapper was choosing to share a picture of her son after declaring him off-limits to the public.. Iggy faced so much criticism from Internet trolls a few months back that she decided to keep Onyx away from fans and critics alike. The rapper, however, had a change of heart to the delight of her biggest supporters.
“[The] second model ate you up,” one fan said after viewing the pictures of both Iggy and Onyx. “The cutest passport photos,” another supporter said. One fan declared Onyx as “literally perfect,” which was the sentiment of many who saw Iggy’s social media post. “He has gorgeous hair.”
Iggy Azalea and Playboi Carti welcomed their son during the summer of 2020. Iggy deemed motherhood as fulfilling during a recent interview.
“Honestly, it’s definitely really hard, but that makes it super fulfilling,” Iggy told the press. “I feel way more accomplished to know that I am able to do all these things at the same time,” the celebrity mom said. “But sometimes it can be very stressful,” Azalea continued. “I like to spend the whole day with my son, and he doesn’t go to bed until 7 o’clock,” the celebrity shared.
“That’s when the clock starts for me, whether it’s in the studio or working on other creative projects. I don’t go to bed until 4:30 in the morning, and my son wakes up at 7:30.”
Onyx is Iggy Azalea’s first child.
