Chance was prompted to call for her father. “Say dada,” the voice said. Chance immediately said the phrase to the delight of her father.

“These are her first words after watching Season 2 of Karma’s World,” Ludacris told his social media fans. The celebrity father went on to tell his social media followers that the latest season of his television series was “out now on Netflix.”

Dozens celebrated Chance’s latest development stage. Eudoxie joked about the experience of her daughter calling for her father before mom.

“I don’t approve of this,” Mrs. Bridges mused. “Here I was thinking if I breastfed her this long, maybe our bond would be deeper and she would say mama first,” Eudoxie joked.

Ludacris and Eudoxie welcomed Chance last August. The little one’s father nearly missed her arrival as he was shooting a new movie with Queen Latifah in Albuquerque, New Mexico, at the time.

“I’m on set, I’m shooting a scene and I look at my phone and I’m getting all these missed calls,” Ludacris said during a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres. “It’s towards the end of the day, and [my wife was] like, ‘You need to come to Atlanta.’ I’m like, ‘Baby, I’m shooting a movie. What are you talking about?’ She said, ‘The contractions started. [The] doctor says you need to get here.'”

Ludacris got back in town just in time to witness the birth of Chance. “I have to call my pilot. I’m like, ‘Listen, you need to leave Atlanta and come straight to New Mexico right now, soon as you can,'” Ludacris said of the measures he took to travel from New Mexico to Georgia quickly. “He literally comes and gets me,” the rapper shared. “I fly to Atlanta—I get there like an hour before her water breaks and I’m there for the whole delivery.”

Chance is Ludacris and Eudoxie Bridges’ second child together. Ludacris has four kids – Karma, Cai, Cadence, and Chance – in all.
