Eddie Murphy was in celebration mode this past weekend! The veteran comedian commemorated his son Myles Murphy’s birthday with cake and family.
Eddie Murphy sang The Birthday Song to Myles who held his daughter while sitting in front of his birthday cake. Myles’ daughter, Evie, was smiling while waiting for her dad to blow out his birthday candles. “I legit remember him being a baby in the arms on the cover of Ebony. Or maybe Essence? I was a kid, don’t judge,” one BCK fan shared after watching a clip of Myles and the family on his birthday.
“I think it was an issue covering Eddie Murphy’s marriage and they were all dressed up,” the fan added. “Cutest little baby and now a whole adult with his own kids.”
Myles Murphy is both a father and husband. The celebrity father and his wife, Carly Olivia, commemorated their daughter’s second birthday in July. Myles and his family celebrated Halloween with costumes that channeled the Pirates of The Carribbean this year.
Eddie Murphy has left a great example of great fathering from which his children can glean. The comedian recently doted on all 10 of his children during an interview.
“I love fatherhood,” Eddie Murphy said during an appearance on Marc Maron’s WTF podcast. “The whole idea of being out there and doing three movies a year, that s— is over … I found over and over again and along the way I realized that if you put your children first you never make a bad decision,” Murphy shared.
“I am so blessed with my kids,” the celebrity further doted. “I don’t have one bad seed,” Murphy revealed. “I don’t have any like ‘Oh you are the one.’ I don’t have any of that. My kids are so great, normal people — and nobody is like the Hollywood jerk kid.”
Myles is Eddie Murphy’s son with the veteran comedian’s first wife, Nicole Murphy. He turned 29-years-old on Sunday, November 7, 2021.
