CANDACE PARKER WRITES SWEET NOTE TO DAUGHTER AFTER WNBA CHAMPIONSHIP WIN

"You Have Been There Through The Losses Too"

Candace Parker helped lead her team, the Chicago Sky, to victory during the WNBA championship game last month. The celebrity mom had her daughter, Lailaa, cheering from the sidelines the entire time and wrote a sweet note to her little one after the game.

“I know people see the wins but in this journey, you have been there through the losses too,” Candace wrote to her daughter via Instagram. “I love you, Lailaa Nicole. Thank you for supporting Mommy in all of her hopes and dreams,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. “Thank you for teaching me my greatest lessons and for inspiring me every day!”

Lailaa joined her mom on the court after the Chicago Sky beat the Phoenix Mercury for a championship victory a few weeks ago. Candace was sure to share the moment with her daughter who has supported her mom every step of the way.

“I asked her if it was okay if I came to Chicago,” Candace told the press after finding success during the WNBA championship game. “I owe everything I am to her, just because she’s been my motivation and my reason for everything,” Parker told the press.

“We’ve gone through this together,” the celebrity mom shared. “She sacrifices her mom so that I can live my dream. I just am so thankful for her, that she’s here for the big moments, but she’s also here when I don’t want to get up and go work out — she sees those moments.”

Candace Parker uprooted her and Lailaa’s life to move from Los Angeles to Chicago. The celebrity mom played for the Los Angeles Sparks for years before deciding to play for Chicago. Candace did not leave Los Angeles before winning a championship for the Sparks in 2016.

“She was like, ‘I want another picture — I want another picture like that,'” Candace recently said of Lailaa’s motivation to support her mom’s move to Chicago. The youngster was referencing a 2016 picture she took on the court after the Sparks 2016 WNBA championship win. “It’s crazy because she came out to the court and said ‘We did it,’ and it was just surreal,” Candace said of Lailaa’s response after Sky’s win last month.
