Drake gave his son, Adonis, well-wishes in honor of the little one’s birthday, which is today. “More life, kid,” the recording artist wrote to his son. Drake also shared a candid from Adonis’ party, which showcased the decorations that were reflective of racing along with the tiered cake that followed the same theme.

“Wait, no,” Masika Kalysha wrote in response to Adonis turning 4-years-old. “He was just born,” Masika continued. “Happy birthday to the Prince,” the singer concluded. La La Anthony wrote, “He’s too cute!”

Drake and philanthropist Sophie Brussaux welcomed their son on October 11, 2017. Drake refrained from sharing his fathering a child for months in an effort to shield Adonis from critics. Nevertheless, the celebrity father decided to share pictures of his son online after watching other artists give fans a snippet into their lives as parents.

“It was great to just share that with the world,” Drake shared with his social media fans. “It wasn’t even anything I talked to anybody about or anything I planned,” the celebrity father added. “Ijust woke up one morning and I was like, you know what? This is just something that I want to do,” Drake explained.

The award-winning artist went on to share the motivation to share parts of his life as a parent with the world. “I want to be able to go places with my son and share memories with my son,” Drake shared with the public. “I don’t want to feel like just because of a life choice I made to be a ‘celebrity’ that I got to make everybody live under this blanket,” he shared. “I just wanted to free myself of that.”
