"That's Love"

Drake had a fun time poolside with his son, Adonis Graham, for Father’s Day weekend. The celebrity dad recently shared pictures from his eventful holiday on Instagram.

“Pool parties at the YOLO sure do look different these days,” Drake said of his son’s pool party, which consisted of playpen balls instead of water in the pool. “That’s love,” Sean “Diddy” Combs wrote in response to seeing Drake with his son. “Kids are a blessing,” another fan said. “This is dope, bro,” the social media follower shared.

Adonis Graham is Drake’s son with Canadian philanthropist Sophie Brussaux. The little one joined his father onstage during the 2021 Billboard Awards as Drake accepted The Decade Award. Adonis was not as interested in being in the spotlight with his dad, though he gave Drake a few seconds of his time before attempting to leave the stage.

“I want to dedicate this award to you,” Drake told his son. The rapper also gave thanks to others in the industry who have supported him through the years.

“I want to dedicate this award to my friends, [and] I want to dedicate this award to my longtime collaborators,” the ‘God’s Plan’ rapper said during his Billboard Awards acceptance speech. “I want to dedicate this award to all my peers,” Drake added.

“All your decisions, and the music you make, really does have me tossing and turning at night trying to figure out what I should do next. Thank you to my beautiful family.”

Drake has shown those in the music industry, and the public-at-large, how to make lemonade from lemons. News of Drake fathering a child came in the form of a record from competitor Pusha-T who released a single laced with accusations of Drake being a deadbeat to his son.

Drake responded to the track with a record of his own that clarified his reason for keeping his son out of the public’s eye. Adonis, according to Drake, was not a secret. The youngster was a blessing whom Drake chose to keep private until the time was right to reveal his son to the world.

Adonis is Drake’s only child with Sophie Brussaux.
