JoJo Simmons and his wife, Tanice Simmons, are preparing for baby number two while celebrating eleven years together. the celebrity couple recently sat down with BOSSIP exclusively to talk about their growing family and relationship.

“I’m not going to lie. You would think that I would be prepared the second time around but I’m not,” Tanice said when asked about her feelings regarding baby number two. “I’m still asking questions like when should I start unboxing and when should I do this? Second time around, so far I think I am dragging my feet a little bit.”
Tanice and JoJo Simmons announced their expectancy of a second child in April. The celebrity couple held a gender reveal party weeks later in which family members and fans learned JoJo and Tanice were expecting a boy.

“It took us some time to tell our daughter,” Tanice said regarding how their 5-year-old daughter, Mia Kaylee Simmons, took that she would soon be a big sister. “When we decided to tell her it took us some time because she actually knew about the pregnancy that wasn’t successful and that was pretty tough.”
JoJo and Tanice suffered a miscarriage a few months back, which was partially documented on the reality series Growing Up Hip Hop. The Simmons made it through the hard times by relying on each other as well as family friends at large. Now, JoJo and Tanice are giving fans an even more up-close and personal look at their lives on their YouTube channel, Meet The Simmons.

“We’re doing that more so for our daughter because she watches these YouTube kids and she enjoys it,” JoJo told BOSSIP. “We were hesitant at frst but finally we decided, ‘Let’s support her so she doesn’t feel like we don’t support her and what she wants to do and never make her live with regrets,'” the celebrity father shared. “So we’re doing it for her and putting it out and shooting fun content and it’s been fun.”
JoJo and Tanice celebrate two years of marriage in October. The two have been a couple for 11 years.

“A lot of learning and communicating and asking ourselves ‘Do you really want this?'” JoJo said when asked how they continue to build a healthy relationship. “If both parties really want it it’s not hard,” he added. “But if one doesn’t really want it, and you’re not on the same page, it’s not going to work. I think that’s what really keeps people together.”
