Jojo and Tanice did not have all members of the family at their home. Tanice’s mother, grandmother, and sister were physically present for the gender reveal bash. Other members of the family who were not physically in the room joined the celebration virtually.

Tanice and Jojo made sure their gender reveal party was interactive. The celebrity couple engaged virtual guests with a guessing game based on Old Wives Tales. Tanice’s answers to the questions indicated she was expecting a girl. The actual reveal, however, was in favor of Jojo’s desire for a baby boy.

“The legacy continues,” Jojo told his social media fans. “It’s a boy,” the celebrity father hashtagged. “Congrats king,” one Instagram fan said in reference to Jojo’s announcement. “Love you, Jojo,” another social media follower shared. “God bless!”

Jojo and Tanice Simmons announced their expectancy of baby number two last month. The celebrity couple welcomed their daughter, Mia, in 2016.

Fatherhood has completely transformed Jojo Simmons’ life. “I had a lot of troubles, but me having a child matured me in a crazy way,” the celebrity father said during a recent interview. “Now, I don’t focus on things that don’t matter, or on people that don’t matter,” Jojo shared. “So, I think me becoming a father really made me who I am today, and it’s the greatest thing in the world.”
