Actor/Model Gabriel Silva found a way to occupy himself at home during quarantine-a new podcast. Well, three seasons later, the Just Talk With Gabe podcast has been nominated for a 2021 Young Artist Academy Award.
Gabriel has received the nomination for Outstanding Podcast Host. This is his first nomination for the Just Talk With Gabe podcast.
“I never thought that the podcast would grow like it has. It became more than something to do during quarantine. It has become something that I love to do,” Gabriel said to BCKOnline in an exclusive statement about the podcast. “Ever since I was on the @tharealityis podcast, I wanted to do my own…it’s fun, no pressure, and you can just be yourself.”
According to the podcast’s website, Just Talk With Gabe “is a fun, laid-back opportunity to just talk with up-and-coming actor/model Gabriel L. Silva. Grab a snack, tune-in, and get comfy…you never know just what you are going to hear!”
Some of the guests that have been featured on the podcast include actresses, actors, models, singers, and a combination of all of the above. A few of his guests may be familiar to you such as: Jordyn Curet, Family Reunion actor, Lance Alexander, Calah Lane, Celai West, Jordan Nash, Travis Bryant, and many others.
“It is fun to interview all types of people on the podcast. Every episode, I take away something from my guests that I can apply to my own career, personal life, etc. Technically, I have learned a lot about production, editing, equipment usage, booking guests, writing, the list goes on. I think that hosting Just Talk With Gabe is the perfect compliment to my overall career. I am honored and thankful to the Young Artist Academy for taking notice of our fun. (It’s not hard work when you love what you do).”
If you remember, Gabriel has shared the big screen with Hollywood A-listers such as Ben Affleck and Zoe Saldana in Live By Night. He also got the opportunity to fly high in an exhilarating escape in the 2019 box office hit, Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Gabriel currently models for Atlanta clothing brand, FadeLife clothing and the LuvUrSkin Skin Care line.
When asked what is next for Just Talk With Gabe, Gabriel told us, “Stay tuned, season three will wrap soon, season four is around the corner, and that is not all!”
