Damion Lee and his wife Sydel Curry are expecting their first child together after a tedious IVF journey. The celebrity couple shared their exciting news with their Instagram fans earlier this month.
Sydel gave insight into her IVF experience. “A small glimpse into my #ivfjourney,” the mom-to-be told her Instagram fans. “While there is so much to this part of the journey, I wanted to share what it looked like for me,” she said.
“I dealt with this in private (off social media) for a lot of reasons and thankful that I did because, whew, the hormones,” Sydel admitted. “It was hands down one of the most difficult things I’ve ever had to do, but it wasn’t impossible. I learned so much about myself and was able to recognize on a much deeper level how blessed I am with the support system in my corner. I would not have been able to do it without them.”
Sydel Curry and Damion Lee have a support system that includes both Stephen Curry and his family. It was just a few months ago that Stephen’s daughter, Riley Curry, helped her aunt choose the perfect wedding dress on Say Yes To The Dress.
“Riley and Sydel, one of their favorite past times is to sit down and watch Say Yes To The Dress,” Riley’s mom, Ayesha Curry, shared during the special episode. “They made a pact that whenever Sydel was going to get married, that they wanted to come to Kleinfeld and share the experience together,” Ayesha shared.
The experience of Riley and Sydel hunting for the best gown before Sydel’s big day was indeed special. Fans could not get enough of Riley’s bold personality that was on full display during the episode.
Sydel and Damion can count on Riley and other family members to continue cheering for them as they travel the path of parenthood together. “I hope to share more with you all as we continue along this journey,” Sydel told her social media fans earlier this month.
“Thank you to everyone that has prayed and offered well wishes throughout these past couple of weeks; it’s a wonderful reminder of just how amazing people can be.”
