Sunday’s Billboards Awards ceremony was the first time Adonis made a public appearance on the red carpet alongside his father. The youngster posed for pictures but appeared tired of all the spotlight during his father’s speech. Adonis attempted to leave the stage near the end of Drake’s acceptance speech for Artist of The Decade. The celebrity father, however, did not let his son walk away without sharing a bit of the spotlight.

“I want to dedicate this award to you,” Drake told Adonis who burst into tears while trying to leave. The celebrity father picked his son up to give him a kiss. Drake chuckled at Adonis’s impatience in the moment. “Too much cuteness in this video,” one fan tweeted in response to Drake and his son. “Much respect to Drake,” another Twitter follower wrote. “He proved [a] long ago what a great artist he is! Excellent presentation of his struggles and successes.”
