Ciara and Russell Wilson are in celebration mode as Future Zahir rings in his seventh birthday. Both Ciara and Russell took to Instagram on Wednesday (May 19) to send well wishes on Future’s special day.
“Baby Boy,” Ciara wrote online. “I just can’t believe you are 7,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. “You are the sweetest Son, and Big Brother anyone could ask for! You have an incredible sense of Wonder, Curiosity, Determination, and a Big Heart Full of Gratitude! I have no doubt you’re going to do Amaaazing things! Big things in life! I’m so excited to keep watching you grow! Happy Birthday, Sunshine! I love you so much!”
Russell Wilson, who is Future’s stepfather, also took to Instagram to celebrate the youngster’s birthday. “Wow! 7-Years-Old,” Russell exclaimed. “I’ll never forget the day we met,” the NFL player reminisced. “I didn’t just fall in love with your mom, but I knew God was blessing me with you too.”
“You have been my joy every morning and my light every night for these seven years,” Russell went on to tell Future Zahir. “I can’t wait to see you shine in every obstacle and hit every pitch in life out,” the celebrity father shared. “Keep growing. Keep loving. Keep shining. And ‘Keep Runnin’ real, real fast.’ I Love you son all the way to Heaven and Back! #HappyBirthday. Mom @Ciara and I are so proud of you and grateful for you.”
Future Zahir is Ciara’s oldest son. The ‘Level Up’ singer welcomed a son, Win Wilson, with her husband last year who made Ciara and Russell Wilson the proud parents of two kids.
“As parents, your job is never-ending,” Ciara said of her life as a mom during a recent interview with W magazine. “It can be mentally challenging for any mom, no matter how great you are, no matter how awesome your kids are,” the celebrity added. “The imperfect moments are actually a part of the perfect process of motherhood,” Ciara shared. “It’s okay to have the not-so-pretty days in parenting and in motherhood; it’s important to remind every mom about that.”
Ciara and Russell Wilson parent three kids – Future Zahir, Win, and Sienna – in all. Future Zahir is Ciara’s son with rapper Future.
