North West took over Chicago on Saturday night for her first headlining solo concert, with her parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West there to support her.

The 13-year-old performed at The Vic Theatre on September 5 in front of a sold-out crowd.
Kim shared several moments from the concert on her Instagram Stories, including footage of North onstage and fans cheering from the crowd. Concertgoers came prepared with homemade signs, including one that read, “We’re from the North West side.”

Kanye was also spotted filming his daughter’s performance on his phone. Videos circulating online showed Kardashian and West watching North from opposite sides of the balcony.
The concert gave North a chance to perform music from her six-track debut EP, N0rth4evr, which she released in May, along with some of her earlier songs. Her set included “PIERCING ON MY HAND,” “H0w Sh0uld ! f33l,” “#N0rth4evr,” “Aishite” and “TALKING,” her collaboration with Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign.

North had some surprises for the Chicago crowd, too. A fan-updated setlist lists several live debuts, including new songs and a North remix of Kanye’s “Coldest Winter.” Another unreleased track reportedly samples Avril Lavigne’s “Girlfriend.”
Saturday’s concert comes after North’s planned Kimokawaii Tour with rapper Molly Santana was canceled in August. She did, however, perform with Molly at Rolling Loud in May and made her first solo festival appearance at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash in June.
Just last month, North told Dazed that performing is something she has been ready to pursue.
“Yeah, I wish I’d done it earlier, though. I’ve been ready,” she said.
Rehearsals have become part of her regular schedule.
“I don’t like to rest a lot. I like to get stuff done,” she said. “I’ll go to rehearsal, then go to the studio. That’s probably my perfect day.”
And despite being only 13, North made it clear that she doesn’t see music as something she needs to put off until she is older.
“This is my hobby, this is what I like to do, this is what I wanna do with my life,” she said.
